Establishment Christianity appears to be male dominated, but in fact the symbolism of the story is strongly feminine. MARY=49=MOON and it is when the moon is in Scorpio that the course of everyday events is interrupted so that sundry vital impossibilities may manifest themselves as unexpected and unforeseeable changes later on. In nature this interruption is Autumn. In human physiology it is the menstrual bleed of the female, which has the same periodicity as the passage of the moon through the zodiac.

In terms of Liber L, “[The best] blood is of the moon, monthly.” (III:24). Female physiology is redeemed by the sacrifice of the menstrual flow, which happens magically when the Moon is in Scorpio. The festival of Easter celebrating the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus occurs when the Moon is full in Scorpio. (This festival is named after the Celtic fertility goddess Eostre, who is Astarte or Ast or Isis by any other name.)

68 = JESUS is LIFE and CHANGE, and the mechanism by which these occur is delineated by 93 = MOTHER, VIRGIN and NATURE.

A truly Thelemic woman has a proper reverence for her reproductive cycle, knowing its very real significance. WOMAN=ONE demonstrating that all women, all female archetypes, are one.

The knowledge that the number of woman resolves to one and the number of man is 3+6 = 9 the number of illusion leads to the conclusion that Man therefore is not ultimately a reality in his own terms, indeed he can only be defined as being in a constant state of becoming - like the Sun. It does not denigrate man or woman to say that woman is Being in General (space) and that man is Being Specific and in a constant state of change.

All men feel a sense of insufficiency due to the fact of their ‘becoming’. The Judeo-Christian feels a sense of inadequacy which is amply supported by all Judeo-Christian systems of psychology, philosophy, religion and science. The difference is one of identification. If we believe reproduction created the universe as the Judeo-Christians say; the implication is that man’s position is truly catastrophic and he will merely continue to fight wars to prove his existence, to prove that he is not inadequate or incomplete - and the victor in a battle does have this sense of completion for a moment or two before something else comes and says Boo to his ego; and then he’s off again to fight someone else, to prove he exists. Why do this?

In Thelema man identifies not what with what brought him into the world but what brought his spirit into creation. He is the Sun, the brilliance above our heads that sustains all life, just as a father sustains his family.

The consciousness of the Sun is in a constant state of becoming fuelled by the mysteries of creation just as the Thelemic man is in a constant state of becoming continually modified by experience to develop spiritually and genetically until he is chosen as hero by a woman and fathers a child where his improved genetics improves the genetics of the child.

The concept of constant becoming is not held back by Judeo-Christian pseudo-scientific bogey men like Neurosis. A man who recognises that he is in a constant state of becoming, i.e. a spiritually evolving entity has no truck with neurosis - it is burned away in his ‘Love and do what thou wilt’.

Not for him the agony of guilt that demands the impossible of man! - that demands that he makes a stand and stops becoming, so that he can feed the collective materialism and greed of the 20^th Century, and pretend to himself that he is completed by purchasing endless goodies, that all fall to bits in the same manner that his inflexible ego falls to bits and so eventually he becomes diseased. The sense of incompleteness in man must be hidden at all costs.

Man is constantly changing in accordance with his experiences, he is in a constant state of evolving MAN=SUN . It is the duty of man to find the next step for his family on a personal level, and according to his greatness (heroism), for humanity as a whole.

In the New Aeon it will be understood that the true nature of man is not to serve the military industrial complex but to take his place among the stars. He himself is a star as the Sun is a star, but we all were born of woman, the unity that can reproduce.

Man should not feel inadequate consciously or unconsciously because he cannot reproduce, and instead endlessly purchase brighter bigger and more shiny objects to prove his completeness. He will abandon all that to become what he is, a star among stars a Sun among Suns defining the Way, lighting the way that woman will follow.

He and his fellows will be Templars of a new age and measurers of a new freedom, ever redefining reality with that new aeon trans-Plutonian faculty of mind that will turn the sphere of appearance upside down; until it finds the reality that will ultimately delineate the engine that will carry him to the Stars. It will be man who first walks among the Stars and woman will follow later and make a home for him.

All the finest aspects of man reflect his ‘becoming’. Every man on the leading edge of his discipline is a hero. Every man who sits there threatening all around in an attempt to validate his inadequacy; and runs screaming like a little boy when his sweetie is stolen if that pseudo self is threatened: he is no man at all! - he is simply a creature ripe for exploitation by a system that is not devised to act in his interests, endlessly supported by a vehement media hell-bent on keeping him behind his little bit of machinery, servicing a perception of reality that repeatedly acts against his interests as an individual evolving soul.

Ultimately it is a question of identity. Do we identify with the animal side of ourselves and just be boring providers to the nest or do we identify with the spiritual creative side of ourselves and seek through ‘love and will’ to find the destiny that will unfold and test the manhood that we are.

If we are true our light will come from the infinity of being that is woman but that light will be the light of the Sun, the light of man, the light of being ever carried by the Hermit.

The God of War and Vengeance is the God of action and reaction of Newtonian physics, he has no intrinsic moral quality.

It is a demonstration of the inadequacy in man that should anything threaten his artificial masculine ego he reacts violently against anything that threatens this flimsy contrivance. New aeon man identifies as the Sun with his constant state of becoming, and the brilliance of the Sun that man is will again shine, as hero priest of Horus, follower of Christ, and worshipper of the Goddess.

WOMAN=46=ONE and MAN=36=SUN. The attributes of the Sun Gods and their chosen Heroes belong to Man: Woman is One. In humans the female is called a Woman when she is fully capable of bearing a child, while the male may never grow up to be a Man, and if he does become a Man he must always be ready to prove it; but a Woman is One and she is always One.

A Man will have a natural inclination to go on a Quest, but a Woman will have no such spiritual necessity, for she is the inspiration and the goal of the Quest.

Woman is One and therefore she contains everything, all the goddesses are in her. Her reproductive system is ruled by the Moon, and she embodies the four lunar archetypes: Virgin, Whore, Mother, Crone. They all have a story to tell and an ordeal to bear and a mystery to impart to Man, for WOMAN=46=SORROW, and as Kali her weapons of choice are poison and a cruel dagger tongue; but MAN=36=MASK and so he must endure the ordeals of the Zodiac.
