FLOWERS To further illustrate the process of creation we will elucidate the Qaballistic meaning of the word FLOWER from Al Ch.1 v.26, ‘‘her feet not hurting the little flowers.’’ FLOWER=67 = (6)LAW, (7)0 or NOTHING, PISCES, RA HOOR KHUT. The flower is the law of Ra Hoor Khut. FLOWER can be read as the verb from the noun FLOW. It is that which FLOWS. FLOW=41=HER. The Flower could then be said to be ‘‘That which flows from her’’. In the case of the Earth, the flow of the Goddess is illustrated by flowers, in the case of woman it is that which flows from her.

Now we must remember when dealing with these substances that we are not considering pharmaceutical drugs but magical drugs; which today have their expression in Homeopathic remedies and the Bach Flower Remedies. All magical tinctures must be made according to the rules of Thelema: we are dealing with creation, not reproduction. The mistake that the process is reproduction was made by Crowley and perpetuated by Grant and all the would-be authorities on magic until the present day, this is the reason why magick is in its present mess because reproduction is not per se a magical process. Crowley worked on the principle that the more coke you shoved up your nose the better the effect, and what was good enough for his nose was good enough for magick. The concept of reproduction leads on logically to allopathic medicine just as the concept of creation (=119) leads to homeopathy. Let me explain further. The creation system works as follows: Nothing 0 divides itself into two negatives - -, which combine to give a positive. In magical terms two Goddesses are created from nothing, Eve and Lilith, Isis and Nepthys, and so on. They in their turn (Mary and the Holy Ghost) create a God , +, this is a stable positive force which in its turn demands a Son or unstable positive force, or . Thus, to recap, we have 0 -- + . This unstable positive force, Jesus, or Hadit, or whatever, is so small and insignificant as to be invisible just as we Thelemites are on the face of the Earth. The principle behind this creation process is that an infinitely small particle in Nothing or a neutral medium will ultimately obsess it. Therefore if we are to create a magical tincture we must behave in the same way. Take an infinitely small amount of Flower at the right Astrological moment and dilute it until it is almost non-existent then preserve it with spirit - yes, Alcohol, a substance derived in the same symbolism as the spirit human. This substance will have all the characteristics of creation but always the pattern decided by the magician. The greatest Flowers of all you should know.

This infinitely small particle will obsess its medium, whether the medium be Nothing and the Universe is created, or the world where Christ is the particle. Indeed the birth and life of Christ illustrates the whole process; or the stuff you’ve just created in your little bottle. To the advanced adept there are many refinements to this method but they must remain in the oral tradition. Suffice to say that substances created by this process indeed produce the Elixir of Life and medicines of metals from the furnace of the wise. The rules of magick say that the less you use the more powerful the effect (creation). The rules of science say the more you use the greater the effect. On the one hand it doesn’t take much material to create an atom but the universe is made from atoms. Yet combined together as molecules it takes lots of molecules (reproduction) to make a gram of material. Make the atom and let the molecules take care of themselves is a magical aphorism.

The Sun conjunct Venus ritual is not an illustration of reproduction but of creation for love’s sake. The substance produced by the priestesses at this moment, Thelemically (homeopathically) prepared, cures all illness and unites all division. It is the Cup of the Adept from the Stone of the Wise. Astrology works on creation’s homeopathic principles, it is the very fact that the force coming from the stars and planets is infinitesimal that makes their effect so potent. The Stars are the direct product of CREATION=119=EMPRESS. They have the nature of creation and obey its rules. The Stars do not reproduce. When we deal with magical essences, elixirs and tinctures we must always remember that for them to be effective they must be diluted until only the spirit is present, then that substance must obey the creation formula and obsess any medium in which it is placed. The consecration of a talisman with these substances guarantees their effect. As the substance runs into the characters it gives them life. Whether the medium to be obsessed is a Talisman, a person, a space, or the universe, the quantity used must be so small that it cannot produce an opposing force and therefore can meet no resistance: Creation-versus-Reproduction. Creation is caused by a slight abnormality in a positive particle. All deities require the return to perfection because they themselves are not perfect, except Jupiter which contains the whole symbolism in + the equal-armed cross.
