TWOTREES#9

The Essential Philosophy of the Book of the Law is found in II 76. When the values in II 76 are expanded into a Tree of Life system then a whole alternative philosophy is revealed. All metaphysical systems can be found on the ‘tree’, they are all part of a larger system that has its complete mandala in this New Tree of Life. In the text of the Book of the Law it states that ‘‘the Jews have the half’’. This means that they had the lower tree and not the 93 and 58 sections. This means that the study of the Jewish tree will only give half of the story of creation. The results of meditation on this tree are ultimately a free flow of force from a Vesica shaped symbol of dazzling light and power having the nature of wisdom understanding and love. To the left of the symbol are all past lives and to the right of the symbol are all future lives.

This symbol exists beyond Kether. In the Jewish system Nothing exists beyond Kether except the inexpressible veils of Negative existence. In the new system the veils of Negative existence give way to a perfect tree of life. The New Tree of Life reflects the fertility cycle of a woman which in its turn gives rise to all cycles myths legends and the symbolised aspirations of all sentient life. The striking thing about the New Tree is that it is a complete tree having Roots a Trunk and Branches, a motif that is celebrated by all Nature. Meditation on this Tree makes all the systems of the psyche work in integrated Harmony. This is because there is no negative existence, this means that there is a place for all the energy of the spirit to go thus allowing for no leakage of force into spurious negative existence where it can be allowed to breed monsters of Gods who need no justification for their actions. All powers on the New Tree justify their actions by being part of the cycle of life, the complete cycle of life. The Tree indicated by II 76 is the blueprint upon which any system in human experience, past present and future can be explained in terms of natural phenomena.
